More and more creditors are insistent upon knowing your physical address, and not your mailing address to send statements/other communication to. These idiots obviously have never heard of mail box theft and the possibility of ID theft.
One way of getting around this is to open a box # at a UPS, or Mailboxes, Etc. place and give them the physical address of the store without mentioning rhat it is UPS or Mailboxes, Etc, for example:
    500 Broaway, # 100
    Your town, State, Zip

The creditor will assume that 500 Broadway is an appartment complex, and that #100 is an appartment number.

Only the store will actually have a record of your physical address - you have to show an ID, but they only have to divulge that information to law enforcement, but not to creditors.
