I did a search to see if this topic was discussed before and was unable to find anything. I hope it's not considered OT or offensive to anyone. I just wanna share some goodies with my new friends!! =-) Here's the deal. There are a bunch of rewards type programs on the internet. You buy stuff, go to web sites, etc and you get points. You can redeem those points for cash, gift cards (Wal Mart, Home Depot, etc.) and free food. I've been noticing as I'm doing my points programs, that more and more credit card companies are advertising with these internet point program places. One place has bonuses for applying for Fleet, Chase, Juniper and AmExBlue...so if you're gonna apply for these anyway, why not get more bang for your buck?? The offers are for about $20 or so, WHEN YOU'RE APPROVED (always a catch, I know...<g>) Another site offers points towards ordering your credit report - if you're gonna do it anyway, might as well make it was worthwhile as possible. I'm sorry if this kind of stuff offends anyone - I just thought it might be of some interest. I have not a clue how to do links here, but these are the places I talked about: Mypoints.com Memolink.com Ebates.com Again, hope it's okay I posted this here... If anyone is interested in learning more about these, just post and I'll answer your questions! I was a rewards program junkie before becoming a creditnet one...<g> Ozzy.
Ozzy, I belong to mypoints. Get a free gas card every now and then. You might like some of the topics at the flyertalk.com forum. That's what they are all about.
Good post. Way back when I established CreditWork$ with my sister, one of our missions was to make it easier for our members to take advantage of reward programs while making a nice return on their idle credit. www.creditsense.com
So glad no one got upset about me posting this, since it could have been considered off topic. =-) This is one of the very few boards I frequent where it actually stays on topic! Gotta love that!!! Ozzy.
