That GD SOB they just arrested in the Samantha Runnion kidnapp/rape/murder worked ONE MILE from my house. ONE MILE from my daughter. She's been sleeping on an air mattress on the floor in our bedroom for the last few nights. She'll probably be there a few more nights I would guess. I'm not a violent guy, but I'd volunteer to do any number of horrible things to that bastard. There's no punishment extreme enough.
I don't blame you. To live so close it would freak me out. And to be a parent with a young child I cannot imagine the terror one must fear with such a sicko walking the streets. Dani
I'd be flipping out right about now, too. I know they say "innocent until proven guilty," but it's kind of hard to resist the desire to string the guy up with piano wire.
I agree. i'm against the death penalty in most cases - however - if it's murder of a child - i just can't stand the thought of that person staying alive. A few months ago i saw a news magazine article on MSNBC of a mother who had managed to forgive the murderer of her child - and she actually meets with him in prison. she's an extremely religious person. i admire her, i'm not that strong.
