Man the FTC needs to get Experian

Experian thinks it is above the law. I can't dispute anything online because it was "previously investigated". Then they tell you to contact the creditor. IF they are asked to do a reinvestigation the law tells them to do it yet they disobey.

I think if enough complaints are filed, the FTC will come after them. Guys, this is what this board is about helping each other and especially tackling these monster company but in big numbers. There are enough of us here to get at least 50 affidavits out about the "Experian experience". Especially when they deny disputes.

They need their asses handed to them by the FEDS. What do you guys want to do about it ? You think David Swak [sp ?]. (forgot the last name) will take the case. We need to really document everything so this will be HUGE and gain class action status.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm sick of Experian.

I'm with you too. I am sincerely **disgusted** with these tyrants. They do whatever they want to do, which is usually nothing or claim to verify the "unverifiable."

I think being an apathetic compulsive lying weasle is part of the job training....IMHO

    Down with the EVIL EXP.

Why don't we all 'pledge' to send a complaint to the FTC by this Friday, Feb. 14? A Valentine to the FTC on behalf of our fav. CRA!

Of course, the letter should be 4 pages long. Pages 2 and 4 should only say:

    THIS PAGE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

Ok guys... really lets "be about it". We need great numbers to get some attention from the FTC. I like the coordinate complaints idea too. Should we all send our letters out on Feb 14th ?

I'm sure the BIGGEST complaint will be they refuse to investigate items and they lie about verifying items. I think we really need to push that.

I'm listening for more input and more parties who are going to participate. As they say, stregnth is in numbers.

I am in. I already have a suit against them and now suddenly my cls are being changed to my current balance. I am 100% positive this is being done on purpose to pay me back for my suit against them. But never fear experian, now I am gonna file another suit against you for this. hahaha you never learn.

Count me in....they verified 2 collection accounts that are not mine....

I have an appointment with an attorney next week-(Against CA) My paper trail is huge and they have violated the FDCPA & FCRA every step of the way. Maybe I will have the attorney add in experian to the suit on this one, especially if they do not respond to by procedure request.

Trust me, it is not just you. If a new tradeline appears on my report, it never fails to lower my score!

Why, not because the line is true, but because they misrepresent the cl. Everytime, I just turn around and dispute it. But, be careful if you decide to dispute, because these idiots usually just decide to delete the new line!

    I REALLY REALLY hate them!

They delete the postive lines with no problem, but if you have a negative line with ample information showing that it is invalid, they refuse to remove, update or investigate.

    Where do we complain??

I am on the tail end of this one, but I would like information on how to complain about experisux...CA and judgement that they are the only ones reporting and refuse to re-investigate. Makes my validation letters and violations a pure bluff at this point.
