Marie i was reading the jim story on his bk7 and have a quick ? for you. Transunion is reporting bk7 0 liab and 0 assets. and yes i do have some things that say included in bk. Equifax has me down for two bk7 same file number and and assets of 1060.00 and liab 1300.00 of coarse these are wrong who would file for a thousand dollars... could i dispute both as never filed bk for 0 liab and 0 assets as well as the other one for 1060 and 1300 and ask please remove???
you can try. they'll likely ignore you or validate. there's no way you filed twice either. anyway, get the dispute going... get their bogus answer.. then in writing, ask for a procedural description of those investigations when they're done. You likely won't get it. Then, if you want, you have enough fcra violations to go after them. Of course, make sure you have been denied for credit or an increase before filing suit. You may also want to scrutinize your other accounts, see what errors there are, dispute them at the same time as the bk (based on legitimate errors) and then try to get those off too... but don't b/s the investigations if you intend to perhaps sue later. you'll cut your own legs out from yourself if you do
