How do I know if they will even *offer* to settle? How do I make sure these accounts don't come back also? I started a new thread to take attention away from that one, plus I hit the alert button :)

they'll call you and offer to settle out of court. otherwise they have to pay someone to come out and attend court.

deletions in full are easy. you just have them send a letter stating they'll pay you xxx to dismiss the lawsuit and that they'll also delete xyz tradelines.

have them fedex you the check and settlement letter before you dismiss the lawsuit.

they may wait until the last minute. the day before or something. if they do, then dismiss it so that you can refile if need be (I forget if that's with or without prejudice). the judge can tell you.

or you can roll the dice and head to court. you have a good case. you have nothing to lose at this point so relax and enjoy the shift of the balance of power.
