Anyone hear of these guys they have 2 items on my equifax file, for the same thing (is that some kind of violation, reporting same item twice)??? They are not even showing as a collection but 2 tradelines each 120 day late...I can imagine what that is doing to my score, the real kicker is it is only 35.00 Equifax verified I tried to contact Marlin and they said it was for a bounced check, they gave me the drivers license number from the check and it was not mine...they told me they would send me a copy of everything that was 3 months ago, any advice?? Three months ago? What have you been upto since then? They have 30 days to provide you with proof. Use the documents in the library here and warn them that they are in violation of law. My experience with them was they took a debt more than 7 years old and changed the charge-off date to months ago and put it in my credit report. I asked for validation and they didn't reply in 30 days. I sent another letter threatening to sue and the tradelines came off within 2 weeks. Be tough.

My Fiance had these people on his credit reports for bounced checks of $17 and $21 from Pizza hut, someone had stolen his checkbook and was writting bad checks- we sent them a dispute letter, included the Police report and a copy of Dr Licence, it was deleted the following week.
Yes, they are NCO....My advice is to sue them like I did 2 times already and get your easy money. They fold quicker then a lawn chair so to speak, LOL!! Their attorney seems to feel and make it a habit of excepting NCO and Marlin's illegal actions as nothing outta of the norm for them. They will settle easily for $1000.00 just to get rid of you and end it. You must however sue them, they won't pay you any other way! Good luck, Now go and get your money and deletion!! Tac
