I pulled my wife's free report after that survey and noticed the name on her report is her maiden name. We've been married over four years. Does that name ever change? Should it now show her married name? She did take my last name. and Should we dispute her negative items, including the BK, with the report showing her maiden name or her married name? Does it matter? We were married when we filed BK. Anyone have any ideas?
you need to change her name w/the creditors. even if you changed it with the CRA's it will more than likely change back every time one updates their tradleine. depends on what the negative items are to dispute.
