I just got an orchard Silver card in the mail... 300 dollar limit... what is the max limit I can get with it? What are the tricks to getting a higher limit fast with them?
I have had a orchard card for over 5 years and my limit is up to $2600. The max it can go is 5K. You have to pay if you ask for a CL increase so just let them come automatically. I keep my balance pretty high and only made min payments and the CL never moved. But once I learned about utilization, and got the balance down, the CL has been moving. About $100 every other months since my October pay down. The funny thing is the card sucked when first I got it. $500 secured for 1 year. The apr was high at 14.6 and it had an annual fee of $20. Looking back now, this would be considered and OK card these days.
I have had Orchard for 2 yrs now--started at $300 and went all the way up to $450 in 1.5 yrs woohooooooo!! And the balance is low so there's no ryme or reason!! I gave up a long time ago!
