Calling Robert Stack - no, actually LizardKing is much better :-]

    - All the good input on this board has enabled me to help a family member clean up incorrect credit info.

Here's the next hurdle: After a bankruptcy, can a CRA legally list the same account multiple times?

Each CRA - especially Equifax, has a debt that was discharged listed as - 1) a collection account, 2) discharged in bankruptcy and 3) a charge-off.

Before I help write validation letters, we're hoping someone knows whether this is legal.

Thanks - Thanks - Thanks for all the valuable help and input. You guys are the greatest!!

Don't really know much about bankruptcy, but the CRA's are responsible for reporting ACCURATE INFORMATION! Unless you had this debt THREE TIMES OVER, this is NOT accurate!!

Like I said I don't know how it should be reported, but the FACT is you only had ONE DEBT!
