I was appd for a cc on May 8. Does anyone know how long it takes for my name to be in their system or to receive the welcome package. One rep said it could take 30 days. That sounds too long.
I applied on April 21 2001. The computer said i would be advised of their decision in 7-10 days. After 2 weeks I heard nothing. I called and they said my app was being processed but to wait for 30 days to call back. 17 bays after the app a tradeline for mbna appeared on my experian report and about 5 days after that I got the card. Definitely worth waiting for.
I think you should get it in much less than 30 days. I got the card from them in about two weeks even though they said it could take up to 30 days.
