I applied for a platinum visa on 10/30, they pulled TU. I called them a week later, they say it is still pending further review and it may take 30 days. I figured I was declined but today, they pulled Experian... going on 20 days now. Good sign or bad sign?
Neither good or bad. All I can tell you is I am in the same situation. Applied 11/9 and the app. is pending. Was told to wait 17-30 days. Rubyjean said that there was a backlog and they are working through it. Since you applied before I did, you'll be getting a response before me. Let me know what happened, OK?.
It may take up to another week, still a back log.. Try calling 800 421 2110 in about 7 days and ask to have the status of your app checked.. Good Luck
I actually applied with MBNA via phone and was approved within 15 mins. This occured on the 5th of Nov and I received the cc a last week. I also applied at Bank One and it's close to 3 weeks with my application still pending. Best regards, Mirage
Yep. They pulled TU first, then EXP a few days later. Haven't touched EFX (yet....). I'm keeping my fingers crossed though. As long as I don't get a letter saying I'm denied, there is still hope.
Or they may surprise you by approving you for a $ 200 CL. When I applied I was told they cannot approve me but later sent me a card with the $ 200 CL. I have still not figured out why they would do that, I mean why not just decline me instead.
Re: Re: MBNA app question?? Was the application a Pre Approval? if it was and you have not applied for credit at MBNA with in 90 days..or do not have a BKO on your credit reports, a Credit Card has to be sent to you.. That is why the credit line is only 200.00..
