Just noticed a new "request increase" button on the MBNA cc website. Anyone requested and gotten an increase from them? Did they pull an inquiry?? somebody help me on this soon, I don't think I can resist clicking that button.
I called and requested an increase. They said that I should receive a phone call back in 15? minutes or something (can't remember the exact amount of time). After 30 minutes had past, I logged onto my account and my request ($5000 increase) has been granted! They did pull a hard inquiry though...
Wolverine, I'd resist pressing - even tho the temptation is overwhelming - i know i'd call and ask if they do a hard inquiry. i had a really good experience with a cl increase with my Bofa card last month. i called after i received the 4.75% bt offer - asked if i could get an increase without a hard inquiry if i transfered a balance - and they increased my limit another 3K - to 10.5K. A week later i called to bt another 1K and asked if i could get another increase - without a hard inq - and they gave me another 1.5K. in short - 4.5K cl increase within a week - from 7.5K to 12K total cl. Maybe it will work with MBNA too.
