MBNA credit card

    I applied for an MBNA visa and was declined solely for too many inquiries. Is this something that I can fight? I recently finished shopping for an automobile and a home. I have great credit, no derrogs. Do you think that they would reconsider? Does anyone have a phone number that I could call?

    Inquiries

    I thought that the CRA's were supposed to count all inquiries in a 14 days period as 1 when it comes to car and home loans?

    If they are, they certainly did not do it for me. Each bank shows up in the inquiry section of my credit report. I am not sure how it is affecting my score, but obviously, MBNA isn't looking at that, they are looking at the number of inquiries, and that is what is hurting me.

    I apply for Barnes and Nobles Platinium Plus last month and I got approved even I have 10 inquiries in my credit report. I don't know why they turn you down for a Visa card.

    They didn't count my mortgage inquiries as one.

    This is why inquiries should not b allowed to be reported!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
