I was denied credit by MBNA, then I spoke to the credit deparment and cleared up some incorrect things on my credit report. The guy in the credit deparment said that he would recommend approval....does that carry wieght, or was he just getting me off the phone? He did have me fax over confirmation of my address Thanks
The "guy in the credit department" is/was just a CSR who don't make any approval decisions, and do not think that their recommendations carry much weight.
