I need advice from you all. I have an MBNA Plat Plus with 3.9 apr for btransfer, and 13.9 apr. I also have a First Union Gold with 14.9 which was taken over by Individualized Bankcard Services (MBNA).
I combined both accounts, but the rep asked which one would I like to close? Of course, I closed the one with the higher apr (FU Gold). My combined limit is 13,500.00 now. Did I do the right thing, or should I have kept two separate accts? I'm pulling my hair thinking should I have done that? I can't tell MBNA to undo it now.

    Pls reply. Thnx.

AS FAR AS I CAN TELL...YOU DID GOOD.

Only thing is, you might have been able to get the credit line jacked up to $15,000 at the same time if you wanted it...NO QUESTIONS ASKED...

In my opinion, the more cards the better, but remember, I am CreditWorks. You probably did the right thing. Always lower your costs and increase your limits.
