Hi all, Here's an FYI to Quantum Rewards card holders. They will now reduce your rate to 10.99%apr down from the 12.99% they were offering earlier this year. Just call 1-800-896-3698 and they will transfer you to their "rates adjustment" dept (= retention???).

I called and got the 10.9 fixed rate on our card (I'm an AU on it) and at the same time they raised the limit 4500 with no inquriy... they were very nice! they also told me the card qualified for a bt directly to our checking account and that the interest rate would be significantly better... since I'm not the primary, and my sig other won't do any credit card debt, I had to say no... but it's a nice offer
Marie, they let you discuss the account even though you are only AU?? did you have to have your sig. other tell them it was ok first? Or will they talk to any AU?
I don't know the policy. they did talk with me.. of course, I know all the verifying info for the primary account holder so maybe that helps... plus, I called from home and I am guessing they have the caller id deal so they know it really is from our household.

11.99% DOWN TO 10.99%~~~big deal...I STILL CAN'T PAY ANYTHING ABOVE 9.99% ON ANY CARD!!! Then I'm going down to 9.90%...then NEXT lowest 5.99%...

Re: mbna quantum rewards 10.9% fixe Marci, Theyt lowered my Quantum Rewards Card from 12.99% to 10.99% fixed last month and they lowered my Elite Rewards Platinum Visa from 12.99% to 9.99% fixed starting next billing cycle. Ron.
