I applied for this a few months ago and got denied due to excessive inquiries and a late payment on a student loan. I disputed the late payment and it was taken off my report. I applied again and was finally approved!! The catch was that MBNA took some of the CL from my Elite Rewards card to open up this account. Does anyone know if banks in general have made it tougher to get new cards because of the current economy or is this card really that hard to get ? Does anyone else have this card ?
