I applied for a mbna card. How long does it usually take to get an answer back. I called and customer service advised that it was being process and will hear something in 30 days. Usually when I apply for a credit card I get a response in two weeks or so. I have a feeling i got denied based on to many credit inquires this last month and three new credit cards with 5,000, 7,000 and 5,000 balances limits within the last three month. I have excellent credit and zero deg.on my report information.
Jim - there is a federal regulation mandating you must be notified of a decision within 30 days - it may happen faster than that in some occasions, but they do have that entire time period to reply.
