I just got approved for a MBNA card. What experiences have you all had with them? Good company or not??
They're a good company. I had them a couple years ago back when I first started college. Lenient with credit increases, but not competitive with interest rates, unless you carry the Quantum (sp?) Card or Platinum. Dani
Very good until I got close to my limit. Then they raised my APR to 23.99%. I told them no thanks so I do not have use of my card now, even as I pay it down. I can keep my 13% now, but if I charge anything, it all goes to 23.99%. They are my highest limit, $20,000.
My highest credit limit is MBNA QUANTUM. I haven't had a limit increase in years, but I haven't asked either...
They have on-line account access. Request limit increase (application). Balance transfers on-line. Pay on-line. BUT NO E-MAIL ACCESS TO THEM...
