    I just have to share my experience with MBNA. I have Line of Credit with them for $20K. Recently I wanted payoff the account and called for a payoff. I guess I didn't hear the agent correctly because my check was 35 cents short.

    I just realized my mistake when I called today and had a 35 cents balance. I called MBNA again to verify my new payoff and the agent looked at it and stated "Mr. Peterson, your balance is 35 cents; however since it will cost you 34 cents to mail a check, I'll make an adjustment to your account in the amount of 35 cents. It will appear on your next statement. Thanks for calling MBNA."

    While 35 cents isn't a big deal, its the good service that I appreciate.

    So do I. Service is king. MBNA is an excellent creditor, just use them correctly.

    They did similar for me re a lost payment...when it arrived, and what I told them re mailing date was verified, they credited back the late charges and interest...I didn't ask them to..they just simply did it...
