    Hi Guys,

Need some help on what to do here. I visited an emergency room on 12/27/02 leaving all of my insurance information.

Long story short, after pulling myfico.com...there is a collection under my name for the doctor services performed on that day totalling $187. I contacted my insurance provider and they promptly paid the hospital. When I called the hospital to let them know that my insurance agency had paid this, they told me that would be unable to remove it from my credit reports because they had already forwarded it on to a collection agency.

The address that the hospital had sent to the collection agency was incorrect....thus my never knowing about it.

Any help here, on who I should follow up with?

Thanks any and all advice appreciated!

You already have your letter typed Slee.

Send it to the Hospital CRRR.

Tell them if they don't recall the collection acct. as "reported in error".

"Reported in error" triggers an automatic deletion.

    You'll hire a lawyer.

    :)

ALSO - do NOT talk to them on the phone henceforth.
