    Hey everybody,got a quick question:

My uncle collapsed a lung in 1992 with no insurance (laid off at 64-1/2), hospital charged $9500.

He's been paying $50 mo. since then and the hospital has recently turned it over to a collection agency. I am pretty sure he is judgement proof after this time period but what about DOL? is it the last 50 bucks he sent?

I have not pulled his report yet so I dont' have to many particulars at this point (I have fixed my reports and am now tele-recruiting family members for repair whether they like it or not)

he has paid approx $7200 (50 x 12 x 12 years) and NOW they are sending it to collections?

i personally would tell them to get bent and go f*ck themselves, but thats just me.

does he have any sort of written agreement w/the hospital to pay $50 per month?

if his income is only ssi/disability/pension they can't garnish wages.

Thats almost my exact advice to him. If they want any more money out of him they pretty much just sh*t the bed.

His only income is S.S., no payment agreement.

I really want to F*ck with these a**holes and was wondering if anyone has ever gone thru one of these
    that was this old.

Think the hospital can do a legitimate verification after 12 yrs?

    If it past SOL no.
An out of sol debt can't be validated because it'not a legal debt.
