Let me give you some background:

In 2000 I had knee surgery as a result of a soccer game I was playing in. The league insurance covered 100%. Well a few bills were not paid for one reason or another. When I found this out 2 yrs later I contacted the ins. co. and they paid the bills. Well they still show up as unpaid on my reports

While cleaning out my filing cabinet I found the recipts for the payments the ins. co. made.

Should I dispute this debt as not belonging to me or just dispute the balance and submit the CA the recipts for payment?

Always dispute as not mine at first....and second...

If you send them receipts etc. etc. you've just given them paperwork to put in your file so 5 years from now when you dispute "not mine" they can pull it out and rub it in your face that YOU sent them proof.

If that doesn't work send a letter to the CA.
