Is anyone following this? It would be nice if it were passed. The purpose is to exclude from consumer credit reports medical debt that has been in collection and has been fully paid or settled, and for other purposes.

I agree, this would be great if it was passed. After looking at the prognosis it looks doubtful.

4% chance of getting passed the committee
    1% chance of bring enacted

I wonder if this is the first time something like this (for medical) has been attempted?

I have no idea... It makes sense though, especially with medical debt being so complicated with HIIPA, etc.
