    Hi,
I am a new member as far as posting goes although I have been reading the site for @ month..very helpful. Question:
My boyfriend was jumped/mugged four years ago. The result was a totally smashed jaw. After many surgeries/doctor visits the bills are astronomical for someone with no health benefits. He had just finished school and did not have his own benefits yet. The court has ruled the assailant is reliable for the costs. Unfortunatly he has nothing! My boyrfriend has received a measley $90.00 a month. The unpaid bills are obviously drastically hurting his credit. I was wondering if there was any options his lawyer, or ourselves could take in order to try to clean up the credit. Does anyone have any ideas or a link to another thread that is similair. We will want to buy a house in the future and we would like to be able to apply jointly.
Also: WHen i ran my credit scores yesterday...my current mortgage is no where to be found? I have been paying $1100.00 for two years on time every time and even send extra towards principal. It shoudl show up on my credit, correct? And when it does should this improve my score?

    Thank you in advance.

Did you pull all three of your reports, or just one? Pull all three if you only pulled one, it will show up on one of them.

There is probably tons of stuff you can do. Since its been 4 years, depending on your state, you may be getting close to the SOL for collections, which will help put your BF in the driver's seat.

We would need more details. Have you pulled all 3 of his credit reports?

I have not pulled any of his reports so far but will get to doing that.
I am in CT how do I find the collections time table? and what can I do after I find it? What letters will help me help him out of this

As far as the mortgage...It doesn't show up on any report, I have puilled all three. I called mortage company they are looking into it, hopefully they will help me.
