I called Merchants today for a bad chck. The check is for 57.00. They stated they would not settle that their Client does not settle. Is that true or should I call the OC? (need to take care of this asap) FYI--I called today Merchant's to settle and they didn't. I thought they would because at the end of the month collectors are trying to get their bonuses and collect on every account they can--I used to work for Citigroup part-time--and that is how the veteran collectors did it.
