I was one of those who got transferred from Nextcard to Merrick. All the terms stayed the same, but I just found out that the minimum payment with Merrick is 3% of the balance, where it was 2% with Nextcard. That means that the payment goes up 50%. YIKES. Time to get rid of this baby. Of interest, my BOA minumum payment is less than 1% of my balance. For those waiting for your first Merrick bill, they said they will mail them soon. Mine is due the 21st, yet I have no bill yet.
