MBNA signs credit card pact with Merrill NEW YORK, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Merrill Lynch & Co. <MER.N> on Monday said it had reached a pact with MBNA Corp. <KRB.N>, the second-largest credit card issuer in the United States, to issue branded credit cards to Merrill clients. As a result of the partnership, Merrill will market its own products and services to MBNA's credit card customers. The first Merrill-branded cards will be available early next year.
