   If a company's Collection Department contacts you, do they have to read the mini miranda and should thier communications include the mini miranda as well?

   The mini-miranda is a requirement of the FDCPA. This act applies ONLY to 3rd party collectors such as collection agencies.
   
   The Original Creditor must be handled differently.
