I recently pulled my credit report from TrueCredit and MyFICO. The bankruptcy case on MyFICO is not the same case number on TrueCredit. On my Truecredit report only Tranunion and Equifax have it listed and with the correct case number. I do not see a way to dispute what MyFICO reports. Who is right here and how can I get corrected.

    Thanks

The CRAs and resellers tend to scramble numbers for YOUR protection. You should first pull your reports directly from the CRAs, and then if the case number is not accurate, you have a reason to dispute its complete accuracy. ;)

In addition, a good data field to target is the date filed. It should be the date the protection was sought, not the date of discharge.

Get out of Lexis Nexis and these are cakewalks.
