Ok, I have a qauestion...I opened an account back in february of 1999, I think it was a line of credit account for $500 with my credit union. i opened it to build credit so I would get a car. Well I paid it off a couple of months later. i just checked my credit report and it does not appear on the credit report...shouldnt this still be on there, or am i just mistaken?

They have to pay to subscribe and pay for the CRA services. If a lender isn't a subscriber it dosen't get reported.
I've had several loans at my CU and each time I had to request that they report. If I had not done so it would not have been reported.
