Well I canâ??t believe it! I have been working on my credit for a mere 4 months. I was suffering for years from my credit mistakes I made years ago. I found this site and began to learn a little about how the system works. I went to work and with a little effort my first goal has been accomplished! All three of my credit reports are now 100% clean of any negative accounts. Now for the details, I need to work some bumpage, Lower my balances, and put on some age. Then next year I will be ready for a HOME!!!!( the Ultimate goal) Thanks to all the creditnet junkies for supplying the knowledge database.
It's a great thing to be ready for a buying a home, I'm now ready to place my first bid on a home tomorrow.

nice job! Can you tell us any special techniques you used aside from disputing i.e. nutcase to creditor A, intent to sue to CRA Y, two validation letters to collection agency Z, etc.? For inspiration to the newbies . . . humblemarc
so whats left on your report?? I am very close to having completely clean report. My only concern is that it will be virtually empty.. a dept store card a CC and an auto loan...
I used validation letters while simultaneously disputing with the CRAs to get rid of two collection accounts, I had to send follow up to one, or a second validation letter and re-dispute. But a lot of bad TL came off with just a couple of disputes. I didnâ??t have any lates just good accounts and collections from 97. I did have to send a â??Nutcaseâ? letter to one fully paid collection, which was showing unpaid still. They deleted in the first dispute and sent me a lovely â?? the CO told us to delete the recordâ? letter 60 days later. LOL Now all I have is good accounts Paid Auto 1998 Current auto 2002 never late Current 2000 CU visa 1K limit never late (was a $500 secured card 1yr) Current 2001 First Savings MC 350(joke) Limit never late- this one is in dispute because it still says closed I reopened it just to the TL Current 2002 First Premiere MC 250(joke) limit Never late (never will be used) New Household Bank MC 750 Limit. Not a prime card but my first unsecured card And hoping on Citibank (was declined for collection account that just disputed off of EQ, sent them a clean copy and CSR said chances are good) Thanks again for the help cleaning it up, Now I need make a plan to get my scores up and get in to Prime number.
