    Hi everyone,

I am totally confused here. My credit reports are low because my credit limits are low, and I'm using 80% of my available credit. But the problem is that my cards are "starter" cards with very low limits, like $200.00/$400.00. Thus, it doesn't take much to max these little guys out. I have tried getting LOC increase but no luck...too new. Should I get another card, just to keep in the sock drawer to help reduce my ratios??? Help! I don't know what to do....am really frustrated...feel like it's all just a game.

I would suggest paying those cards off to improve your ratios. Creditors will see 4 or 5 small cards maxxed out and realize that will be number 5 or 6. I really think you'll help your cause by paying those cards off and show you can use credit in a responsible manner as opposed to getting cards with higher limits and then maxxing those out.
