Ok, so I think I am going to have some money rolling in here pretty soon from all of these violations. I just want to make sure that I have it straight before I become too happy. Here goes: Both are CAs and I disputed with the credit bureaus on 1/23, proof is per experian. Anderson Financial - sent val. on 2/1 and they signed for it on 2/5. Verified the account on 2/13 same status. Never listed account as in dispute. Redisputed on 2/9. Credit Bureau Services I - sent val. on 2/1 and they signed for it 2/6. Verified account of 2/13 same status. Never listed as in dispute. As of right now, I calculate that I have Anderson and Credit Bureau Services in 2 violations each right now and 3 if they don't respond within the 30 days. So that means that is 4 violations for $1000 each for sure right now!!! And then when they don't respond to my validation, that's another violation each for a grand total of $6000. I think I calculated this right but if I am wrong, please let me know. I want to make sure I have my facts straight so I can send them a bill at the end of the 30 days. hee hee hee
I've got a question here. How soon after a CA gets your validation request do they have to update the reporting to show in dispute? I ask because a CA I'm dealing with (they just got my validation) told me that the account reporting will be updated to show "in dispute" but that it takes the CRAs 30-60 days to update it.
I'm no expert, but I think that is a bunch of bull. If your score can change in a moments notice, 24 hours anyway, and they have 30 days to validate by law, how is it going to take the CRA longer than that in order to update your file. I think they are stalling. But like I said, I could be wrong.
I agree if they can put crap on your report and keep reporting even after it has been proven incorrect then they can put a "disputed" notation on your account. Thanks
