What problem are you having with them?

Got declined for a card with a 657 score just too many inquiries. Wanted to ask about reconsideration.

Was that the reason? Too many inquiries? 6B Or 6C? You can have a second "Manual" review, not the system review, because the algorithm is set up by the Risk group, and no matter how high your score it will decline you for the inquiries. They raise the triad scores to offset, but it still randomly declines. You have to ask for a Supervisor or Manager to have them to review a second look. Now be aware they may just have another rep just get the phone and pretend to be a supervisor. To shoot that down, ask their name, phone # and Title. You should fair better this time. All of Monogram and GECapital accounts aren't set alike, you may be approved for HomeDepot, and Decline for Lowes, Approved for Exxon, and declined for Disney, but with persistence you can work it out.. If this doesn't work, let me know still have connections in that organization...

The reasons were too many inquiries, too many accounts that are too new. (I have no derogs on my report-except if you count the inquiries part). I will give them a call today and see what they say and let you know. Is there one of there products that is easier than the others? I was also declined for Walmart for the same reason about 60 days ago. Thanks.

Well I tried and that did not go anywhere. I talked to someone who I think was in there India call center. She was nice enough but told me no they do not do that. She transferred me to her supervisor who told me his name and that he was a credit supervisor but could or would not give me his extension (So I think you were right with that one). How do you get ahold of the call center in GA? I think it might be easier to deal with them since they probally are more enpowered to do stuff. Thanks.
