Cannot even recall the reason but I applied for Home Depot card at the end of April 2002. Filled out application online, waited patiently for 30 seconds and.... got declined. Though, oh well, here goes another hard one. They never sent me anything in the mail, not even an email rejection until today. I get a credit watch alert from Equifax. There is a new trendline from Home Depot. Monogram only works during business hours so I can't even call them (877/969-0957, 877/305-6228). Is this an identity fraud or what?
Congratulations ... sounds like you've been approved! You can call them (Monogram) at 1-800-677-0232 to see what's up. You can also shop @ Home Depot without the card (you need your license). They just replaced everyone's card in the last few months (security - now they have card identifier #s in the mag. stripes), so that may explain the delay in not getting yours. -mj
