Just curious if there was any new info., I haven't seen much talk about this card lately. Ron/PsychDoc, any comments on your new accounts? Anybody else apply for this card? -0m
I really wanted to apply for a Diners, but Montage doesn't really offer anything (unless you frequent one of their "20% off" restaurants). I don't see why anyone whose credit is good enough to qualify, would want to revolve balances @ Prime+9.9%. If I was willing to pay an annual fee I'd go for the regular Diners Charge card. I'll apply for it as soon as I find a reason to Saar
Om, I got approved for Montage with $10,000 about a month ago and they approved every purchase without any delay. I just received my first statement that mailed from Canada. It used and feels like using Diner's Club. The difference between between Montage Card and regular Diners Club charge card: Montage Card has no annual fee and the regular Diners Club has $80 annual fee and Montage didn't have any Club Rewards points that Diners Club Charge card has. The Montage can carry balances and don't have paid in full. You have paid in full for Diners Club. Both customer service are friendly and helpful. Now you can view statements paid Diners Club's bills on-line like Citibank Cards. Ron.
I happily carry my Montage card, lol. It also has a $10k limit. I previously posted the saga here: http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=107998 I like the card, but haven't used it much yet. Incidentally, Club Rewards are a paid option with Diners Club Montage, but I elected not to participate. Full details are at their web site: http://www.citibank.com/dinersus/montage/index.htm Hope this helps. Doc
Doc, I liked the card and it is a nice looking card. It got hologram in the back of the card. Not many places accepted Diner's Club. Ron.
