I had one of those entries on my Equifax report with Montgomery Wards reporting 30 days past due 00 times; 60 days past due 00 times; 90 + days past due 00 times; ACCOUNT TRANSFERRED OR SOLD No Status I called in to dispute and the rep said it was deleted automatically on 2/1/02. If you had this on your report, call in and check to see if it was deleted. They will send you a free copy of your Equifax report by mail to show it was deleted. Tim
So are all of them supposedly reporting like that? I have an old MW account that has never been late and as of 1/24/02 there was nothing wrong with it. Did it "look" like a negative account or just have the 30-60-90 stuff with zeroes? It's too late to call the CRA now....so far as "sold or transferred"--didn't Monogram/GE Capital buy those accounts?
My account was closed years BEFORE MW closed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 30 days past due 00 times; 60 days past due 00 times; 90 + days past due 00 times. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so it just has the notations (with no dates), but none of the little bracket-thingies that mean negative, huh? Guess that it isn't a negative per se. Like I said, mine doesn't have a thing annotated from the report I got dated 1/24/02. I am tired of wierd things popping up.
It is best to get this thing off your credit report. While a human reading your report won't think that there is anything wrong about it, a computer scanning your report might interpet the MW entry as a negative. The string "30 days past due 00 times; 60 days past due 00 times; 90 + days past due 00 times" should not appear on your report! Tim
Tim, but it deleted automatically....? Guess I may need to get a even more new copy. What date was the report that had all the funky notations, since you were told it was automatically deleted as of 2/1/02? Thanks!
It appeared on my reported dated 1/29/02. Call in and ask about it. If if is gone, they will send you a new report free. If it is still there, dispute it! Tim
30 days- 00 60 days- 00 90 days- 00 I don't think it hurts your score. I have a couple accounts listed this way and they are all in the positive sections of my reports. I don't know why some are listed this way, but it has never stopped me from recieving even instant credit. Hope this helps.
