TODAYS MAIL...(GONNA' STOP OPENING THE MAIL)

$75.00 BT FEE AS OF 07/15/2003!!!!

    $30.00
    $50.00
    $75.00

AND TO THINK THAT THEY GAVE BT'S FOR FREE!!!!

If you do a BT...MAKE IT WORTH WHILE...BT THE WHOLE WAD less the fee and any accrued interest you might get and allow a BUFFER of $50.00 extra just in-case...

$75 sounds good. I bt'd $5k with Chase and got rapped $150. I thought they all had a cap, guess I thought wrong. Anyone have any luck in getting that waived or reduced?

    HUHH???

    $150????

    I would call on that...

It sounds like a CASH ADVANCE...many times they DON'T have a "CAP" on what they charge...

Maybe you transferred from three diferents cards?

I transferred 8k to my Chase and the transfer fee
was $35 only. They deposited the money directly into my checking account. the offer was 0% for 9 months.

Regarding MBNA I have never bal transfered due to their fees.

I've never paid a BT fee for MBNA...always been able to negotiate it away.

I called MBNA the other day to change my name (marriage) and the rep was trying to convince me to do a cash adance on my Quantum card - he said that they are having a promotion where if you deposit at least $6,000 to your bank account as a cash advance they are giving you an airline ticket to anywhere in the continental U.S. I've never heard of that - sorry, its kind of off-topic.

MBNA charged me $50 a few months ago for a BT, and I had to call 3 times before I finally got it waived. I spoke to Supervisors in 2 different depts and I got the most pompous, arrogant son of a biotch in the "BT Dept." I finally got it removed by calling and getting one of those CSRs that I knew I could kill w/kindness. She waived it and apologized for the bastards I had spoken to previously.

...looking back though, the 1.5 hours I spent on the phone hardly warrant the $50 I saved...

    ...bastards!
