I was actually in chat w/ MP$40 this afternoon when a lender called and said I was approved for even more funding for my business. Thank you, Thank you friends at creditnet. I know my story is a testiment to what credit repair and patience will do for you. I was driving home tonight from a friends house when I became very tearful. I started crying just thinking about how far I have come. My first goal was to just buy a car. I did that. A modest one but I still get around in my 2000 Galant. (9/00) My second goal was to buy a townhome. I did that too. I love my place. (8/01). Next I needed to start my own practice. I thought that was at least a year down the road. Circumstances caused me to at least try sooner and I was approved.....this week for $200,000 with $50,000 in working capital....asap! I am not bragging. I hope you recognize this as sharing. Roni (me) had terrible credit just a little while back...I started cleaning in 2/00. This has been a frustrating 2 years but it was worth it. I have accomplished ALL of my credit goals. I have faith that everyone here will also. Eventually! Smoochies! roni
Hi Christi, My score were 594 equifax. That is all i know b/c they werent giving out scores back in 2/00. I got my equifax score from eloan before they pulled the plug on them giving out scores. My Tu was about 620 back then also. I got that from a car dealer. Good luck.
That's great!!!!!!!!!! You are in the high 700's I assume now. Hey you doing orthodontics? lol I absolutely can't believe how high braces are. My daughter is 9 and needs them, her father's insurance pays a LTM of $1200 and mine pays a LTM of $1500, so we are looking at $3300 out of pocket. That is UN real.
Sorry. no ortho by me outside of invisalign. Those prices are steep though. Where are you LA. ? Go somewhere else.
Christi... count your blessings .. our ortho x2 is going to be 7,960..Virginia. NO ortho insurance on our carrier.. small company insurance.. We are paying 1500 down next week 2/25 and balloon payments of 1292 every six months.. Hubby works salary plus bonus.. I told the ortho this was the best I could do.. they agreed. I count my blessings just to be able to do this and have two healthy kids.. the baby ( now 13) had some trouble as an infant - shes a special blessing in and of herself..thumb sucker and all. I am very thankful just to put braces on her. Cherie
I did shop around and got three opinions and prices. The 7960 price was the cheapest in my area. Two other ortho's were more. One was slightly more and another about 800 more. Cherie
Wow Cherie. I am sorry to hear that. I hate it when getting dental care puts a strain on patients wallets. If everyone in your area is charging that I guess you have no choice. Are they doing anything of surgery in conjunction with ortho? Is there a dental school in your area. Is MCV near you?
We are about an hour and forty minutes or so ( on good driving day = weather/traffic) from MCV.. Yes, I contacted the college in November after I got the first price. They were some cheaper. I think the price quoted for any person under 18 was 3,500. So this would be about a 1,000 savings between the two girls. We weighed this and decided it wouldn't be worth the miles on the car but more importantly the time missed from their schooling. Plus a friend told me you run into a lot of little emergency's as well. The orthodonist is working with me though. My hubby gets bonuses several times a year.. so we are doing a down and then large payments every six months.. we just don't have room in our month for payments of $200.
I think I was confused. You are paying $7900 for BOTH daughters??? If so that isnt bad. $3500 for each is normal..and that is only a $500 more each. ONLY? I know. But it sound like you will be getting excellent care. Payment plans always help. Good lucki!
Thanks .. the girls begin their treatment next Monday the 25th. Our youngest is trying to make the best of her last week of thumb sucking.... can't blame her its a haabit she's had since before birth.. ( the ultra sound told on her). Cherie
