BTW....you can order your report free from chex if you have been declined within the last 60 days, otherwise you have to pay I think $8. They said I'll get my report w/ in 5 business days...
The article referenced in the link above was interesting . . . however, the author did not discuss the way ChexSystems regularly violates the FCRA by reporting inaccurate information that it says it has verified, but is later found to be false. ChexSystems promulgates that the "banks" are the villains. However, the bottom line is that Chex is just as sloppy and arrogant about its recordkeeping quality control as the three major credit reporting agencies.
I agree!!! The only way to shake em up, is if people start harrassing them about the violations, and make them pay!
