More proof Experian lies

About a month ago, I disputed inaccurate information on my Experian Credit Report.

Yesterday, I received a revised copy of "my" credit report in the mail. According to Experian, every item I disputed was found to be accurate and would remain. However, there is a little problem.

When the credit report was received it was not addressed to me, exactly. See, my first name has an unusual spelling and that was correct, but the last name on the report is completely, 100% different then my last name.

Not a different spelling, not a typo, a completely different last name. A name I've never had, never used and have never heard off.

I placed a call to Experian requesting they tell me who is using this last name as mine, which they refused to give me. Saying they can find out which creditor is reporting it and it was up to me to find out.

When I mentioned to the lady I spoke with that there was no way accounts disputed as not mine (I've honestly never had accounts with these people) could be mind and the fact that some creditor is using a last name that isn't mine is proof of this, there was no way they could have verified these accounts as mine. I was basically told it's correct, so sorry you contact the creditors.

She did however offer to put a fraud statement on my report for 90 days. Aren't they so helpful?

    What next credit guru's?

Does the list of names you are known as include both your actual name, and the erroneous name?
