I did a soft inquiry on Household Bank and it said I would qualify for the Orchard Bank Gold Card. I did not submit instead I called customer service and asked why I could get a gold card but could not get my secured card unsecured. She told me if I had submitted the application I would have been denied because they do not give out more than 1 card. Is this true does any one have more than 1 Household credit card.

    It's true.

I know there was someone on here who had an Orchard Card (monogram bank) who was denied by a company who also uses monogram bank even though it wasn't Orchard.

So I don't know if Monogram Bank won't approve two accounts or just two Orchard/Household Bank won't approve.

    Anyone?

I have 2 HH cards - a GM card and a regular HH card. So yes, they do allow more than one card (at least as of 2 yrs ago when I got the GM card).

I have a card with Household Bank wich is over the limit and I was given a card from Orchard Bank with a small limit.

Curiously enough the limit at Orchard Bank is less than what I have over my limit on HB orI would have transfered part of the balance
