Hi, I have 2 mprgtages for the last 4 years whae I bought my house 80/20 loan with intrest only on them. For the last 4 years I have benn paying on the with,but I have not seen the balance change at all it just like I bought the house yesterday. I have not miss one payment to this day even afetr loosing my job,and no work for 2 years. My loans right know with Bank of America,and I try to speak to them on the phone,and letters to try to ask them to change my loans to better intrest loan,or join the 2 loans together to one loan,but so far no luck. I am tierd paying 14% on one loan,and 7.75% on the second with just intrest only loans. I know my credit not good so far because last time I checked it was 649 score about a month ago. I field bankcrupcy 8 years a go,also I have collection debt after me. Is there any way I can find a way to get out of this loans without selling my house to better loan? every time I tried with a brooker the anser is that debt is to much even I only have 2 credit card with payment 10.00 a month,and one credit card with 2000,00 on it, and nothing us beside the banckrupcy that is 8 year old,and the collection trying to collect a loan that I take out when I was laid off so I don't loose my house,but I stop making payment on,and know it been sing to collection agency for collection. Loan modifications are generally hard to get..and there arent too many good ones. THere is a good website with a lot of resources and contact information for Bank of America: loansafe.org. go on the forums...this website is specifically for people wanting modifications or to walk away from their mortgage. Hi, I have received a call today claiming to be affordable home loan Bank of America Departemnt to help me with the loan. He said that they send me a letter a month a go buy mistake saying that are going to see what can they do about my modification loan. So because of that letter that they send me by mistake then my be they can help me with the loan,but for only one year to change the intrest to lower intrest for a year nothing more. After I waited a year for them to answer me when I send them all the paper work. A year fro the to get back to me.Now it my be for a year I can get help.Realy I can loose my house in year Any way any sugestions please it sounded fishy to me? There are many programs out there that claim to help people modify their mortgages. Like I said before..there are very few successful modifications - so dont get your hopes up. If you really want to fight to keep your home, keep trying. I highly recommend you go to the website I posted in my first response. It has an entire forum about getting modifications with Bank of America. It also lists all of the contacts for people, and organizations, that may be able to help you. Good luck with everything.
