It will be difficult to get another type of loan with this hanging over your head. What is the current rate? You might have to refi to clear it all up (get a clean slate) and then refi in a year or two. As far as the OC, god only knows. You haven't said who they are...that might give us some insight. As I said before...CRA's don't do half of what they say they do and don't be surprised if TU pops back up. I can't comment on a lawsuit...not my expertise. Best of luck to you!!!
