    Happy Easter everyone!

Does anybody know of a good mortgage forum? I need to do some studying.

    Thanks!

fla-tan's got a pretty neat new one going on at Creditboards.com. Realestateinvesting.com has some active forums too. I'll bet there are a few other good ones, so hopefully somebody will add them here.

Thanks Doc. It looks like fla-tan has got an excellent forum in the making,(wouldn't expect any less from him!) but I'm really looking for something with more history. I'm not sure what questions I want to ask, until I start diving in, if that makes sense.

I'm getting ready to bite the bullet and update my CE's to renew my RE license, but I need to get up to date on a lot of the different mortgages that are out there. Things change so rapidly.

Here is another one to check out:

There are about a half-dozen mortgage people that visit there on a regular basis to answer questions. The value of the information there does fluctuate from week to week depending on the questions being asked, but the history is deep.

Another great source of information for realtors is to develope a good working relationship with a lender. Find a guy that does conventional, government and sub-prime and does a lot of purchase business. Ask around for recomendations.

Thanks, I have a couple of lenders that I work with pretty much exclusively. But you never know when you will be in a situation that you need mortgage info.

If you go to www.brokeruniverse.com and click on Grapevine, you will get to a board for brokers where (if you are a consumer) your best bet would be to lurk and see the various programs available.

It is a pretty active board.

Although Fla-tan's board is new, it is active and Willtygart is very good about answering questions in layman terms. Moreso than I've seen elsewhere, Willtygart gives you the inside picture on mortgage programs and fees.

I wish I knew him before I got mine. :-/...

Motley Fool has a buying and selling a home board ($30 annually) which is good, but not nearly as good as the two mentioned above.
