I have an old mortgage that has since been sold to my current mortgage. This pervious mortgage company isnt the original one either.

Since we had a few lates with them (any have no debt to them), I sent them a modified Son of Nutcase letter and asked for validation, etc.

The mortgage company actually sent me back a copy of my signed docs from the closing with the original mortgage company listed. Technically this doesnt validate thier debt, but they probably have documents showing they purchased it.

Anyone have any advice? A modified Son of Nutcase 2 perhaps?

In these letters, do people every list the California credit codes they violate or just quote FCRA/FDCPA ?
