Mortgage question

I'm supposed to close on a house at the end of this month. Last month, they pulled my credit report and the median of my credit scores was 620 exactly. I saw that another inquiry was pulled today for the house. I know my points dropped because of the recent mortgage inquiries to below 620. I haven't applied for anything either since I've been trying to buy this house.

Do you think that the lender will deny me because of this recent pull? The mortgage guy I'm dealing with told me in the beginning that the lender wanted no lower than 620. But technically, it is their fault for pulling my credit report and making it lower. Do you think that they'll put that into consideration?

    Thanks for any help!

It's a tough call, but if it shows that they're the ones who kept pulling your credit report you can dispute that. I am not sure if this is true, but I remember reading something about lenders being able to pull credit reports unlimited times for 30 days after the first time they pull it. Don't take my word for it though... I am no expert by any means.

my 2 cents... which is what it's probably worth..

    GOOD LUCK!

I am sure you will be fine, if they question it, they can compare the two reports and see that all the information is the same except for the addition of the inq. put on the report by the lender, which is not uncommon for them to do. First pull, at the beginning of the process, and a final pull close to the end to verify you havent been being late of filed Bk or what have you.. Thats the wonderful thing about having underwriters.. They are humans an can look an see what is going on, unlike a computer where it is a black an white issue period... 620 Approved.. 619 Denied.. What a jacked up system

    Congrats on the new home
