I think that I take the cake. Here's the worst reporting I've ever seen, and my credit reports look like doo doo. I have a Household account that went into BK7. Here's how TU has it listed: 1) HH Bank Account: XXXXX**** Status: Collection/Charged off Remarks: Payment after charge off/collection Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Wow!!!!!!! A Collection, charge off and a Chapter 7! They must like me a LOT. This is the most rediculous listing I have ever seen. I wonder what their response will be when I dispute it. I'm sure that there are other gems that people here have seen. Let's see'em. Mitch
Mine aren't that bad, but some of my ridiculous ones are: 1.) Providian Dischg in BK/Never late 2.) AAA Collectors Dischg in BK13 1/6/98 Bal $47 3.) Transouth Pays as Agreed 24 mo payment history: PP, PP, PP, PP, PP, PP, PP, Curr, Curr, Curr etc... (pp standing for "Payment Plan") I had a CTX mortgage that said I was 30 days - 45 times, 60 days 15 times, 90 days 6 times, 120 6 times and 180 2 times..... all in a year and a half!!!! LOL OOOPS Almost forgot the crap I am disputing with Arcadia Financial. Signed for loan on 12/19/00 with first payment due 2/02/01.... Payment history: 12/00 90days late, 1/01 60 days late, 2/01, 30 days and then it lists alternating 60/30 day lates until 5 2002... Oh yeah, THEY have their records right!!! NOT! BTW, until this loan was 35 mo old, I was listed as PAA no lates.... here I can refinance this high interest loan and suddenly they report 13 - 30 day, 5 - 60 day, 1 90 day.... can we say that they did this on purpose to keep me from refinancing?!?!?!
ALL I GOT TO OFFER IS...whose account (UNKNOWN) I dispute it..."PLEASE CHANGE TO JOINT ACCOUNT" CRA--->FRIVOLOUS
How about... an account with start and last activity dates of less than a year and... a dozen 90 day lates? Twelve times in ten months.. and 90 days late to boot each time.
I've got a FMC car loan that shows as late before it was bought. There's a 30 day late showing up before the date opened.
Citifinancial mortgage,Discharged in bk-13,Current,180 days late, foreclosure process started, balloon pament of 27,000 due june 2012,21,000 past due. No kidding, real tradeline on experian
EXP a few months ago did this to me after a dispute. Bank of America: Creditor received deed It was a credit card I BK(7)'d and was showing a balance. The balance still showed to. EXP should learn to lie better than that!
I think this is good, its my Eq Brain Teaser... Account Open: 9/1998 Account History: 9/1998 - 4 (90-120 days late) Now, it is updated to Closed By Consumer - Charge Off, with Zero Balance ('as required by the FTC settlement') Oh, a letter from the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION stating that the data furnisher committed fraud, was provided, and they refused to take action on it, and verified it w/i days... Currently in dispute+procedurals for all previous disputes -- and forcing them to dispute it MANUALLY -- hinted @ Richardson, but not brought up specifically, but in compliance with Richardson... So, this dispute I provided, the letter from the data furnisher stating that the reason that I don't owe the data furnisher any more is because of the FTC, and state AG's settlement with the company, the same letter from the FTC, the print outs of the FTC complaint, and settlement from the FTC web site. (Since they are not allowed to type in a web address to the FTC, or pick up the phone and call the FTC.) And disputed it as incorrect account number, the letter they were required to send by the FTC has a different shorter account number, impossible account dates, and payment history, the data furnishers own statement (required by the FTC) that the FTC action is relevant to my tradeline...
How do they come up with this stuff? After I disputed a Macy's dept store card with EQ, it is now showing up as a "Paid Repossession." I just get this picture in my mind of some guy sneaking in my house in the middle of the night and carting off all the clothes in my closet and raiding my sock drawer. And I thought it was the washer eating all those socks. LOL!!
How about Sherman Acquisitions buying my wife's debt that is 6 years and 6 months old from Sears and listing it as opened in June of this last year... ...then they have their mathematicians list this debt as being 90 days late 10 times............hmmmmm. Hey, Forrest Gump called..........he wants his math notes back. SnakeMan
more please!!!!!! this is great, I am printing them out for the small claims court judge( a friend) maybe it will help when I sue.
DID I WIN??? ALL I GOT TO OFFER IS...whose account (UNKNOWN) I dispute it..."PLEASE CHANGE TO JOINT ACCOUNT" CRA--->FRIVOLOUS
Not a TL, but just wrong personally identifiable info. Someone used my ID at a young age (15/16), and all my initial info. like DOB and mother's maiden (used to verify identity) are based upon the initial individual who took my ID. The account they opened resulted in a judgment against me. I couldn't figure out why the heck I wasn't able to access my credit reports for some time. Every time I would enter in the **private** information, like MY DOB and mother's maiden name, I would be denied access to my reports for entering wrong information. Eventually, I linked it to ID theft. The only way I was able to get my reports was through a written request. My DOB, according to the CRA's, and mother's maiden name are still wrong with the CRA's. I still have problems getting online with EXP, I usually have to write them. For TU and EQ, I just give them the DOB of the person who stole my ID to access my reports. It's just stupid.
Re: Re: Most rediculous TL contest... THEY MUST FIX IT...you should NOT have to ever give WRONG INFORMATION to get your credit report!!!
Re: Re: Most rediculous TL contest... Used to bother me. But not anymore. It's ironic. Now I use the DOB of the person who wrongfully used my SSN# to get credit. Of course, I only use their DOB to access my reports. One day, it **might** all come to head. George, isn't it past your bedtime??????
Re: Re: Re: Most rediculous TL contest... OK...it is (or was)...NOW I HAVE TO GO TO WORK... I did go to sleep...
Re: Re: Re: Most rediculous TL contest... OK here's mine: Listed as married to my mom on one CR. Also listed as having an open Sears account from the time I was two years old (it's my dad's). And finally, DW has St. Loan listed as Pays as agreed, INCLUDED IN CH 7 BK 1998!!!!! WOOHOOOOO.....I never knew the FEDS had become so forgiving and they're letting St. Loans go with BK now! Maybe I should send a copy of the CR with her next payment and say well since you're reporting it this way i guess we just don't need to pay it any more........!
